This round Rinzen will simply beat the crap out of his opponent with a tornado kick, assuming his target doesn't get any clever ideas such as try to run away or use gifts etc to hamper this.

Rinzen you already stated your action, The one your fighting is still in the fire pit activating the gift, Carlins apponent is running around the corner. You can spend a willpower point to change your action from your tornado kick on fire pit guy to team up with Carlin and run after the one appearing to get away. Keep in mind that it will still take a full round to negotiate the obstacles in the room from your current position...

I'll say it's Str +1 + 2 (additional successes) for dmg. Your difficulty is still a 7 though. (There's just sometihng making it harder to hit this fucker.)

And while you resolve your dmg, I'll go ahead and act for Rinzen's punching bag.

Rinzen, the guy you just tossed at the fire pit rolls up onto one knee and claps his hands in front of him while saying a short phrase in a language you don't really understand. (Give me an Int +Linguistics if you wanna ponder it for a second or two to see if it sounds familiar. Hell, Carlin, you can hear him too - feel free to make the roll as well if you wish.) As soon as that's done, and you're in mid-roundhouse kick-from-hell, a hurricane force arctic wind BLASTS you across the small room and slams you into the wall.
